The following software is affected

Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.16 and earlier
Mozilla Firefox 3.0.1 and earlier
SeaMonkey 1.1.11 and earlier

for the following operating system platforms:

Windows (any version)
Mac OSX (any version)
Linux (any version)

What is the problem?

There are several bugs in the above Mozilla products, which if not fixed, could result in your computer being attacked by criminals. Your personal and/or business information may be accessed for fraudulent or illegal purposes.

What we recommend you do

The problem can be easily fixed by downloading and installing the updates from:

For Firefox 2 users: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
For Firefox 3 users: http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/
For SeaMonkey users: http://www.seamonkey-project.org/

For users of Firefox 2, it is recommended you upgrade to Firefox 3 as support and updates to Firefox 2 will stop in mid-December 2008.
