Windows 2000

What is the problem?

There is a bug in versions 6 and 7 of the Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser, which could result in your computer being attacked by criminals. This bug is being actively exploited by criminals at present.

What we recommend you do

The bug does not affect Internet Explorer 8. The easiest and safest option for most users is to upgrade to Internet Explorer 8. Upgrading to Internet Explorer 8 can be done via the Microsoft website.

If you operate a business network and cannot upgrade to Internet Explorer 8, follow the instructions in the Microsoft bulletin to increase the security level of Internet Explorer.
